Lurchers have been bred in Europe since the 13th century. They
were gentle companions to royalty as well as gypsies. They were
counted on to catch deer and rabbit for their masters’ supper.
They are gentle, kind and elegant. The breeding is Greyhound for
speed and Deerhound for clearing ability, with a touch of collie
and terrier for spunk. These are the real deal and don't exist like
this anywhere in the U.S. This breeding is between an award
winning Deerhound dam from France and a Lurcher sire from
Wales. Interviews are required and they may be acquired for
