Shichon also known as a teddy bear,or zuhcon puppies had their

roots started here in the USA! Although over the years, Shichon puppies have often been the product of many accidental breedings between and Shih Tzu and Bichon. The intentional and careful breeding of the Shichon are what this website is all about and specializes in. This little dog has more names than any other designer puppy to date. We call them Fuzzy Wuzzy Pups because it describes them to a T! Cuddly, soft, sweet and truly Fuzzy Wuzzy little balls of fur. Most come names for these puppes are Teddy Bear Puppies,Zuchon, and best known as the Shichon. We have puppies below

The perfection and recognition of the Shichon is very important to us and we the breeders we work with. We believe we have found the perfect combination. We breed the very best little shih tzu around that are the Mammas to only a top notch Bichon daddy. Our goal is to always (and I repeat always!!!) breed for health and temperament first and foremost to ensure you get only very best quality shichon that can be found anywhere. We believe in home raised shichon puppies only and NO kennel faculties. Although we do know that there are kennels that are run very efficiently, we just do not share in the belief system of dogs being raised outside of a home environment. We strongly believe that dogs and puppies are and should be apart of the family and raised as such to ensure proper socialization with humans as well as normal household sounds and movement. We are developing the Shichon as the finest of the companion dogs and take our passion for shichon puppies very seriously. Our dedication the the Shichon and the puppy parents we serve is of the utmost importance to us.

Why choose a FUZZY WUZZY'S?

The FUZZY WUZZY'S inherits qualities from both the Shih Tzu and the Bichon Frise. They are an alert and spunky

little dog. Playful and lively, this affectionate little dog needs to be with people and are generally good with other

pets. They love human company. FUZZY WUZZY'S have an independent spirit, are intelligent, affectionate, bold

and lively. They are self-assured, and have a happy temperament that is easy to live with. These bright little dogs

are easy to train and just plain old love everyone. They need people to be happy. They are naturally sociable and

are happiest when they are part of a family that takes them everywhere. This sociable trait also means that they

are fine in the company of other dogs & pets and are excellent with children. A very alert watch dog. Used as

watchdogs and to perform tricks, this hybrid is competitive, courageous, and obedient. This charming, gentle

dog will bark when needed, but definitely is not a yapper.

So how are FUZZY WUZZY'S different from Bichons and Shih Tzus?

Coat: The FUZZY WUZZY has a very loosely curled or fluffy double coat consisting of a

textured outer coat lined with a soft, fine, silky undercoat that is 3 to 4 inches (7-10cm.) long and is

virtually hypo-allergenic. The hair will usually not be as curley as a Bichon. A FUZZY WUZZY coat

may be several different colors and will usually resemble a Shih Tzus coloring, but may be white like a

Bichon. FUZZY WUZZY do not shed and therefore are often recommended as a breed for families with allergies.
